LEAD THE WAY FOUNDATION HIGHLIGHTS

Chad Hosts 7th Annual Celebrity Waiter Night

Former Minnesota Vikings linebacker, Chad Greenway, welcomed guests to Manny’s Steakhouse on Monday, September 18, 2017 for his 7th Annual Celebrity Waiter Night raising over $280,000 to benefit Chad Greenway’s Lead the Way Foundation.  

Greenway’s foundation provides seriously ill and physically challenged children throughout the Twin Cities with daily support and life-changing experiences. Proceeds from the evening will go toward Chad Greenway’s Lead the Way Foundation’s initiatives such as a new partnership with Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota, Field of Dreams, Chad’s Locker and TendHER Heart Luncheon, a community outreach program that was hosted on Sunday for over 215 mothers to honor the sacrifices they make for their ill children.  

For one evening only, Minnesota sports stars, including Vikings’ Anthony Barr, Kyle Rudolph, Eric Kendricks, Andrew Sendejo, Harrison Smith, Ben Gedeon, Eric Wilson, former Vikings’ Ben Leber, Minnesota Wild’s Jason Zucker, Ryan Carter, Alex Stalock, Nino Niederreiter, Matt Dumba as well former Minnesota Twins’ Justin Morneau were in attendance at Manny’s Steakhouse to help serve guests to benefit Greenway’s foundation. In addition to mingling with their favorite athletes, guests enjoyed a cocktail reception and Manny’s Steakhouse cuisine, accompanied by fine wine.  

Paul Allen served as the evening’s emcee, while Brian Baumhor served as the evening’s auctioneer during exciting live auctions.
