LEAD THE WAY FOUNDATION HIGHLIGHTS

Bridgestone and Lead the Way Foundation Team Up for A Super Bowl Surprise

For Chad Greenway, he always wanted to have a bigger impact off the football field by leaving a lasting impact on the community. Chad has left that impact through his work with his Lead the Way Foundation by providing seriously ill and physically challenged children throughout the Twin Cities with daily support and life-changing experiences. Since the start of Chad’s foundation in 2008, Chad has met many families through his foundation that has inspired him to continue to make a difference in the lives of families in the Twin Cities.

With Super Bowl LII being held in Minneapolis, Chad and Bridgestone had the exciting opportunity to surprise one deserving kid that has been impacted by the Lead the Way Foundation to attend Super Bowl LII.

And that one deserving kid was Obadiah Gamble – a passionate Minnesota Vikings fan who captured the hearts of Vikings fans when he invited Teddy Bridgewater to his birthday party in 2016.

To reveal the surprise, Chad invited Obadiah to U.S. Bank Stadium for an afternoon to play catch on the field but Obadiah had no idea what Bridgestone and Chad had really planned for him...a trip to Super Bowl LII.

Obadiah has been involved with Chad’s Lead the Way Foundation as Obadiah and his family attended Field of Dreams in August 2017, a community outreach program where Chad welcomed families to an all-expense paid weekend stay-cation at Mall of America. Additionally, Chad invited Obadiah to his Celebrity Waiter Night, an annual foundation fundraising event, in September 2017 where Obadiah created a song called “Lead the Way” and performed it in front all the guests in attendance.

In 13 days Obadiah will have the experience of a lifetime at Super Bowl LII thanks to Bridgestone and Chad.
