LEAD THE WAY FOUNDATION HIGHLIGHTS

Chad Greenway to Host Second Annual Charity Golf Tournament to Benefit Chad Greenway's Lead the Way Foundation

Chad Greenway is continuing to use the power behind his athletic success as a former Minnesota Viking to better the community by hosting the second annual Chad Greenway’s Charity Golf Tournament on Monday, June 4th at Wayzata Country Club. Chad Greenway’s Charity Golf Tournament will benefit Chad Greenway’s Lead the Way Foundation, whose mission is to provide seriously ill and physically challenged children throughout the Twin Cities with daily support and life-changing experiences.

Guests will enjoy a round of golf at one of the premier courses in the Midwest, lunch, dinner and exciting live and silent auctions. The outing will feature local food, drinks and sweets to coincide with this year’s theme, “Minnesota Made.” Funds raised at Chad Greenway’s Charity Golf Tournament will go towards community outreach programs of Chad Greenway’s Lead the Way Foundation, such as TendHER Heart Luncheon and Chad’s Locker.

Last year proved to be a successful year for Chad and his Lead the Way Foundation. In August 2017, Chad broke ground on an inclusive, handicap accessible playground at Children’s Hospitals and Clinics of Minnesota. The playground will open this spring for children to use during their hospital stay. The day after breaking ground on the playground, Chad hosted Field of Dreams and welcomed 12 families with chronically and critically ill children to an all-expenses-paid weekend stay-cation at Mall of America.

In addition to hosting his 7th Annual Celebrity Waiter Night in September, Chad started off 2018 by surprising a passionate Minnesota Vikings fan and a Lead the Way Foundation friend, Obadiah Gamble, with tickets to Super Bowl LII.
