Greenway Camp Teaches Skills for Life and Football
July 15th, 2013
Chad's "Day to Reach" Football camp was another great success this year, with close to 300 kids from all over MN, SD and as far as NC participating. As always the focus of the camp was to teach skills both on and off the field.
See below for an exerpt from the local paper.
As with past years, the camp taught youth athletes, grades fourth through ninth, not only football fundamentals, but more importantly how to be a good person and make good lifestyle choices along the way.
“You can go to any football camp and learn football fundamentals,” Harlander said. “I think, with Chad Greenway's "Day to REACH" football camp, it’s more about the complete package. It’s about being a good person and doing the right things, on and off the field. Living a clean lifestyle.
Breakout sessions off the field focused on areas such as character building, team building, nutrition, and strength & conditioning.
Also like the previous two years, the camp had a specific theme that was the central focus around the campers’ experience, and this year that theme was “One Heartbeat.”
